CREATION 001 — IN THE WORKSHOP
COMPOSITION & SHAPING
Each element is positioned by hand to create a unique composition. The wood, natural details and resin are gradually brought together to give the piece its distinctive character.
SURFACING & LEVELLING
The surface is precisely machined to achieve perfect flatness. This stage gradually reveals the wood and prepares the piece for the subsequent sanding and finishing stages.
FINE SANDING & SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface is progressively sanded using increasingly fine abrasives. This stage reveals the full richness of the wood and carefully prepares the piece for its final finish.
FINISHING & ENHANCEMENT
The edges are carefully shaped and refined, then the entire surface is polished and oiled. This final stage reveals the full depth of the wood, enhances its natural tones and gives the piece its finished appearance.
THE FINISHED PIECE
After many hours of craftsmanship, the creation finally reveals its full character. Every detail, every grain of the wood and every element of the composition make this piece truly unique.
CREATION 003 — IN THE WORKSHOP
RESIN POURING
The resin is carefully poured around the wood to follow its natural shape. This stage creates a fusion between the two materials and forms the foundation of the future washbasin.
SHAPING & SANDING
The washbasin gradually takes its final shape. Coarse sanding is used to shape the wood and resin, refine the contours and correct imperfections before the finishing stages.
